Work work work

Anyone can do any amount of work provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at the moment (Robert Benchley)

Oh how right this man is! Here i am, sitting in the University Library, and i have somehow found something else to do, other than what i am supposed to be doing and the main reason why i came here. Unbelievable. I shock myself at times. The amount of work i have to do at the moment is out of this world, and here i am wasting time. Sort of anyways.

Why is it, that the more work i have to do, the less i actually do it?? Does this happen to everyone? At least 4 assignments, at least 6 end of year tests in 1.5months, at least 17 subjects for my university finals which are in approx. 2 months time.... i mean, in order to avoid studying i even took a job for the upcoming easter holidays. I'll be teaching students for 2 weeks. HA HA HA. This is when you know that you have finally lost it. Getting an actual job in order to avoid the torments of the world of books and notes.

Do you ever find yourself getting absolutely restless, so much so that the only thing you feel like doing is putting the volume of your music full on so that you can spent a couple of minutes bouncing around your room?? Those few minutes usually tend to an hour for me, then a further hour watching some episode of One Tree Hill/Desperate Housewives/The OC that would have just downloaded. No way could i wait for the evening to do that. And so my day passes, and once again i promise myself that i will never do this again for a few months, and that tomorrow is another day - a day when i will throw myself into study-mode.

Sure. This has been a normal day for me for at least 2 months now, and i still haven't settled down. Someone really needs to slap me and sit me down in order for me to actually get started. (Kamsky pls pls pls help!!!)
