I'm back.. wooo

Actually i'm just having a break from my educational training session. Yesterday was another fun day of kids jumping on my back and spraying me with spray guns. My young cousins are gonna get stuck playing so many games with me when i get back home.. (get ready to rumblllee) Learnt how to do hair wraps - i consider myself an expert now xi tghid Kamsk?! - and tie dyed shirts cos i had to do one for the 4th July... the BIG AMERICAN DAY

Got home at about 6pm and went to Wal Mart at 7pm. Just as we decided to start walking to our shuttle bus, it started raining. As soon as i got into the bus it started POURING AND PISSING with rain. We get a lot of this here.. Freak Storms they're called. Anywho.. Tex - our faithful driver - took us right to the door of Walmart. Me, Cora & Kamksy went slightly mad running around and laughing... a whole 2hrs anyways. Got home at about 9pm and Kamsky came over to cook with me and Cora. I kinda left the chicken we bought on Tuesday in the fridge so it went bad.. oops.. u how am i supposed to know these things?! After that we just chilled out in our room, watched some tv.. and passed out! Woohoo!! hehe

Hey Y'all (hehe yes.. have the american accent already)

Everything's great up here in Myrtle Beach. Got here Monday night, after A LOT of travelling. I did nothing on the 9hr plane ride to Atlanta except for watching films on my tv - thank god for British Airways and personal tv screens - so ye.. basically, we got to Atlanta after 3 films, about 5 episodes of Friends, etc etc. Felt like a couch potato.

The 40 minute plane ride to Myrtle Beach was hilarious. It was a tiny plane with like a max. of 70 seats and we had a HILARIOUS airhostess. She played games with us and laughed all the way through.

We had the Jamaican Spotlight on Tuesday at the Training Centre.. after which we walked back to River Oaks (where we all live) with Big D and some others. At about 11 we had house party no.1 over at no 26

Yesterday we had to shadow other interns to get the feel of the whole internship thing. It was great. We;re working with kids all day.. i kinda got coveredin paint cos there favourtie place to paint is our legs or face or necks. I had one kid who decide to move around on my back (tyhank u danny) and another kid on Kamsky's. LOL. We had xebba games like the Water Balloon Toss - where i ended up getting a bucket of water throw over me.. don't you just love kids.. hehe. We had this Olympic Game too.. my team won of course (GOOOO GOLD RUSSSHH)

2 days of...

2 days left.. and i'll be off to the USA.
ONE PROBLEM... i need to start packing.. but it's too hot to even move from this chair im sitting on. I tihnk we've hit over 40 degrees here, and this room has no a/c. ARG.
News Flash... Mosquitos seem to love me this year. I woke up this morning to a body - mostly legs- covered in bites... i counted 25. Terrible creatures. Had to go out and by repellent.
Anyways.. trusting my very good luck (ha-ha).. my car has recently decided to contribute to my world of confusion and disaster, and is now making a couple of noises every time i brake, or when she starts moving. NOOOO and basically i have to sort it out BEFORE i leave ie: byt tomorrow cos no one opens on a Sunday dammit.

I'm trying to think about what else i need to purch. for the trip. I already spent a bit too much.. hmmm

wow. the last few days have been absolutely great! Exams finished on Wednesday and after dancing and singing Popeye the Sailor man with Nicki, us girls headed straight for the beack where we lazed about until around 1730 after which we went home, washed changed and headed out again to meet our course buddies for a night of drinking and celebrations!! My god.. it was one hilarious night! I'm gonna miss those people!!

Now my days are spent swimming, shopping, watching the World Cup (GOO ENGLAND)running around trying to sort out loads of stuff before the big day arrives. Really can't believe that the whole America thing is just 9 days away!

15 weeks of South Carolina! :) and maybe some hop overs to other states. The best thing about this whole working holiday is that it's 6 of us going up and most of us are best buds! And another thing is that me and becky 2 are going to meet one of our best friends whom we ahve seen in yonks - 2 years to be precise. I get these mental pictures of us practically jumping on eachother -- technically, it's already been planned.. the jumping part lol.

I'm dying to see what the american life is like.. but the thing im dying to see most are the piers and the fun parks at the beach.. and there are loads of them where we're gonna be living! hehehe what a loser i am!
